THE CHAPEL OFF-STREET PARKING

Please allow ample time to find parking and consider car-pooling or using
a church van. In addition to The Chapel’s own marked lots off Fir Hill and Chapel Drive, parking is available near the conference in specified University of Akron lots (see below). To utilize University lots you must display on your dashboard the OCEA Conference Parking Pass (online, printable PDF version available). Please refer to map for lot locations. Authorized lots and restrictions are as follows:

The preferred parking facility for OCEA attendees is the University of Akron parking deck #1 located across Buchtel street from The Chapel with entrances off of Spicer and Carroll Streets. Must display OCEA Parking Pass.

University of Akron lots #10, 13, 32, 35 and 54 – available at all times during the conference with OCEA Parking Pass.

Martin University Center / U of A lot #52 – available ONLY AFTER Friday at noon with OCEA Parking Pass.

University of Akron lots #14, 15 and 19 – available ONLY AFTER Friday at 4:00 pm with OCEA Parking Pass.

You may print multiple copies of the Parking Pass as needed. DISPLAY A COPY OF THE PASS CLEARLY ON YOUR DASHBOARD when parking in University lots. Cars parked in unauthorized lots or in disabled spaces without a state-issued permit may be ticketed or towed.
