Dear OCEA member,
As you know, there’s been a malfunction in the air conditioning in District Attorney’s 401 building, creating hot and unacceptable working conditions for you and your coworkers. When we became aware of the problem, we immediately contacted Human Resources to get a status update and request accommodations for those subjected to extreme heat in the workplace.
As of this morning, the air is back on in some floors of the building. Any member who works in an area where the air is not back on can request to be moved to a different floor where the air is working or be moved to another location. Requests should be made to your immediate supervisor, and if you have any problem at all, please contact OCEA immediately.
In the meantime, thank you for all the work you do each day—no matter the circumstances.
