Crisis Support

If you or a family member suffers from a serious illness or are in need of financial support, there are resources available to help. The Orange County Employees Association has compiled the following list of local resources to connect you with the services and support you may need.

County workers also can participate in the catastrophic leave program, a union-negotiated procedure that allows individual donations of leave time to employees who are required to be on an extended or unpaid leave due to a catastrophic medical condition or other serious circumstances. Contact OCEA at 714-835-3355 to learn more about the catastrophic leave program.

Another good place to start is by dialing 2-1-1, which is a public information line that can connect Orange County residents in need with local resources.

The information regarding the resources on this list has not been reviewed for accuracy by OCEA. It is provided as a service to OCEA members and OCEA makes no representations or assurances of any kind in conjunction with the information or the listed resources.
