OC Register: Mosquitoes in Buena Park and Santa Ana test positive for West Nile virus, but still no human cases reported

Inspections of routine insect traps — on Aug. 7 near Crescent and Western avenues in Buena Park and on Aug. 12 at Fairhaven Cemetery in Santa Ana — brought the number of positive tests for the virus in mosquito samples so far this year in Orange County to three.

Fullerton police and federal authorities said Tuesday they arrested and charged a known Fullerton gang member living in Oklahoma on suspicion of shipping firearms to alleged gang members in Orange County.
