Fullerton police officers, corporals and sergeants could get raises after the City Council decided the city needs to do more to keep experienced officers on the force, instead of losing them to other departments at the current rate.

OC Register: Consumer confidence is slipping in California, nationwide

The Conference Board’s consumer confidence index for California was at 116.6 for September, down from a revised 121.5 a month earlier and up from 103.6 a year ago, according to the Conference Board.
