OC Register: Cal State Long Beach suspends in-person classes due to coronavirus fears

Face-to-face classes are canceled from Thursday, March 12, to Tuesday, March 17, to allow instructors to prepare for a switch to online-only classes, which will begin Wednesday, March 18. The campus will remain open.

 

Supervisor Andrew Do: Coronavirus virtual town hall

This Thursday, March 12, the County of Orange will be hosting a virtual town hall from 6 pm to 7 pm in response to COVID-19 for all of Orange County’s residents. Staff from the Health Care Agency will be answering questions during this virtual town hall.

Caltrans officials said the community can avoid gridlock and misery if motorists bypass the area during the 36-hour closure and seek alternative freeway routes and detours. Or just stay the heck home.
