OC Register: ‘Seriously delinquent’ mortgages at 7-year high in LA-Orange County, Inland Empire

In Los Angeles and Orange counties, 3.4% of mortgages were in or near foreclosure in June, up from 0.9% in May and 0.7% a year earlier. This is the highest rate of loan troubles since May 2013, but it’s also well below the Great Recession’s high of 9.5%.

KTLA: La Nina climate pattern strengthens in the Pacific Ocean

La Niña conditions were observed in the Pacific Ocean last month, and there is a 75% chance the weather pattern will persist through the winter, forecasters with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said.

 

KTLA: CVS expands COVID-19 drive thru testing for kids, 12 and older

Beginning today, children age 12 years and older are eligible for testing at the more than 2,000 test sites located at select CVS Pharmacy drive-thru testing locations, CVS Health said in a news release.
