There were 207 people with confirmed cases of the coronavirus reported in Orange County hospitals on Monday, 44 of whom needed to be in intensive care units. The count of those who have died from the virus in Orange County to 5,578.

Fullerton leaders are now interested in a 59-unit affordable housing complex for an extra triangle of city land at Commonwealth Avenue where it hits the train tracks, the second time in recent months they’ve tried to secure a developer for the property, which has been vacant for years.

OC Register: Ports of L.A., Long Beach to fine shipping companies over container backlog

The twin ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach said in a statement that arriving containers scheduled to be moved by trucks will be allowed to stay for nine days before fines start accruing. Containers set to move by rail can stay at the ports for three days.
