OC Register: Heavy rain, snow coming to Southern California starting Wednesday

There were scattered showers in some areas Tuesday night, but the storm is projected to bring rain through Thursday, with up to 2 inches along with coast in Los Angeles and Orange counties, and up to 4 or 5 inches in foothills, valleys and some parts of the Inland Empire, meteorologists said Tuesday.

At present, the City is nearing completion of the second recruitment. To ensure that Fullerton continues to have uninterrupted management while the Council completes its recruitment for a permanent appointment, staff recommended appointing Jeffrey Collier as Acting City Manager.

An attorney for three Mater Dei High School football players accused of beating a teammate and another Mater Dei student has been declared ineligible practice law by the State Bar Court. David M. Nisson, a Tustin attorney, was declared ineligible Dec. 13 after being charged with “willfully” misappropriating client funds.
