Accelerated Separation Program Discussion

Dear AMEA Member,

You have likely heard that the City is considering offering an Accelerated Separation Program to address projected City budget challenges. We have met with the City once and are scheduled to meet City representatives again this Friday to discuss details of the program and to try to secure the most favorable provisions possible for AMEA members. The City has said it wants to move quickly and we are committed to meeting that objective as long as we are satisfied the terms are the very best we can obtain.
