AMEA Negotiations Update: Key Dates Inside!

Dear AMEA member,

AMEA and the City met for another negotiations session Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025.

Your AMEA negotiations team has heard loud and clear from AMEA members, and we are committed to reaching the tentative agreement we deserve!

Wages continue to be the biggest source of disagreement. The AMEA team is fighting tooth and nail for fair wage increases. The City is trying to get us to accept less than we know we are worth.

Despite the current failure to agree on wages, the City and AMEA have reached tentative agreements on 17 different negotiations items. Although we have not yet reached an overall tentative agreement, progress has occurred.

Here are some important upcoming dates:
