Attention! New Benefits Administration goes live June 1

Dear OCEA member,

The County of Orange is moving from current benefits administrator Secova to Alight Solutions (Alight) as of June 1, 2020. Transition letters informing County employees, Court workers and retired participants were sent last week. This is not an OCEA-negotiated change. Our employers are not obligated to meet and confer on such an issue. We do, however, want to make sure you are receiving the information you need.

The transition to Alight does not impact the costs of your benefits package nor does it alter any of the terms of the negotiated benefits in your MOU.

According to County HR officials, Alight is a leader in the benefits administration industry. You can read the letters sent by My OC Benefits to its members below:

Frequently Asked Questions.

The move to Alight will allow navigation to your current benefit elections and their costs from your smartphone, tablet or computer. The FAQs also provide contact information for the transition period that occurs when changes in benefits administration are made.
