Community & Family Appreciation Day at AMEA Saturday, May 18

Dear Anaheim District 3 resident and union member,

Ballots have been mailed to voters in Anaheim District 3 for the June 4 special election. The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association and the Orange County Employees Association encourages District 3 residents to vote NO on the misleading recall of Natalie Rubalcava! This costly special election is unnecessary and is unfair.

AMEA and OCEA stand in support of Councilmember Natalie Rubalcava. She has done nothing wrong and has delivered results for her district. Since her election to the City Council in 2022 she has stood with us. She and her staff have worked hand-in-hand with AMEA members and staff to address important issues facing workers. Councilwoman Rubalcava has consistently challenged outsourcing, pushed for enhanced workplace safety, and advocated for better pay and benefits.

Simply put? She supports us!

This election will be decided by a small group of voters. Make sure your voice is heard. VOTE NO ON THE MISLEADING RECALL OF NATALIE RUBALCAVA! Do not stay home for this election. Vote for an AMEA champion and oppose the misleading recall!

Show Your Support and JOIN US for a Community & Family Appreciation Day at AMEA Headquarters, starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18. Full details are below.

In solidarity,

Jonnae Barreras
Anaheim Municipal Employees Association President

and

Judy Bowling
Orange County Employees Association President
