Early voting begins today!

Dear OCEA member,

Early voting begins today across California. Every election is important with critical decisions to be made by workers about good government and their safety, stability, and security on the job.

The 2020 Election is momentous and comes at a time of extreme divisiveness in our national politics along with an unprecedented pandemic. Just as important as the race for the White House are local races that often have a greater impact on the lives of working families than who occupies the Oval Office.

If you haven't yet cast your ballot, please review the OCEA Voter Guide that you can view by clicking here. The recommendations in the Voter Guide come from your coworkers after vetting all of the candidates and assessing their willingness to be fair to workers. These men and women vying for state offices and local governing boards have earned an OCEA endorsement by standing together with us.

To vote in person, click here to find the Voting Center most convenient for you. Your fellow OCEA members at the Registrar of Voters Office have worked hard to make sure voting is socially distanced and safe.

Please stay safe as you exercise your right to vote. That voice is even stronger when we stand together.

In Solidarity,

Charles Barfield
OCEA General Manager
