IMPORTANT: Your Voice is Missing from the 2026 County Negotiations Survey

Dear OCEA member,

Our records indicate that you have not completed the 2026 County Negotiations Survey. We have extended the survey deadline to Friday, Nov. 21 because WE NEED YOUR VOICE.

So far, your priorities may not be reflected in the data. Your concerns about staffing, pay, or working conditions? We’d love to know them.

Every incomplete survey is an empty chair at the negotiations table. The County will have its data and its priorities, and we need to counter that with the full power of OCEA’s membership voice. As you know, there is strength in numbers.

What if you don't reply?

The priorities that will guide our 2026 contract talks will be decided by those who do reply. Lower participation means we may not all be talking with one voice.

What changes if you do reply?

Your personal concerns and priorities are heard, and the negotiations team will have concrete data reflecting frontline workers' concerns. The County can see we're engaged and willing to fight for what we’ve earned, which only strengthens our position at the negotiations table.
