OCEA members are working hard to make sure the LPS Market Study results are implemented fairly. LPS Market Study Team (Left to right): Emma Castle, Perla Elias, Robert Renison, Robert Hendricks and Diana Gonzales. Not pictured: Mary Reynolds.

Dear LPS workers,

Your LPS team met this week at OCEA to prepare for our next meeting with the Court on March 19. Last month, the Court provided the committee its initial recommendations on duties and compensation. At our meeting on March 4, OCEA LPS team members Emma Castle, Robert Renison, Robert Hendricks, Perla Elias, Diana Gonzalez and OCEA staff reviewed the initial data and compared it to our in-house data. We then prepared questions that were still unanswered and created drafts of counter proposals to the Court's initial recommendations.

As we move forward, the LPS team will provide front-line perspectives and recommendations. We will challenge the credibility of any data that does not reflect the actual duties performed by an Orange County Superior Court LPS. Our goal is to ensure the classification is representative of our work and that we are compensated fairly. Please feel free to reach out to any of the LPS committee members or an OCEA staff representative for more information.

In Solidarity,

Danielle Chau
