MORE INFO: CFS Social Worker Membership Meeting Aug. 5
Dear CFS Social Worker,
You’re invited to a virtual membership meeting 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, focused entirely on negotiations and how we can work together to improve working conditions for Social Workers through our next MOU.
We know the budget outlook isn’t ideal right now, but that makes our preparation more important than ever. This negotiations cycle, we’re forming a dedicated Social Worker Negotiations Committee to center your voices and focus on the issues that matter most to you. From economic enhancements to noneconomic improvements that impact your day-to-day work, this committee will lead the charge in shaping and advancing Social Worker-specific proposals.
We can’t directly control the broader economic climate or decisions made at the State and Federal levels. But we can control how organized, informed, and strategic we are at the bargaining table.
Please join your co-workers from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, to learn more about negotiations, the committee, and how you can be involved. There will also be a separate office hour at 800 N. Eckhoff on Thursday, August 14 between 12-1 p.m. for those who want more in-depth information and a space to discuss potential proposals and ideas. Your input and participation are critical to building the future you and your families deserve.
Meeting details for both our upcoming CFS Zoom Membership Meeting and In-Person Office Hour can be found below.
