OC Sanitation District Negotiations Update: May 11, 2022
Dear OCEA member,
The Sanitation District has provided us their proposed changes to several classifications, based on the Class and Comp Study they recently conducted. We have only received the Classification portion but should be receiving the Compensation portion of the study during upcoming negotiations sessions.
Your OCEA Bargaining Team has reviewed the District’s proposed changes to classifications, and have gotten feedback from some of you as well. Bargaining Team members have access to the job descriptions, so if you would like to view yours—or if you have viewed it and have concerns—please let your Bargaining Team know your final feedback by the close of business on Friday, May 13, 2022.
Negotiations will resume today, Wednesday, May 11, and we will meet with the Sanitation District to discuss our proposal. Please continue to check your home email address for updates, or ask your Negotiations Team Members:
