OCEA Safety Survey: Take action NOW!

OCEA Safety Survey!

Dear OCEA member,

Thank you for continued leadership and service during this public health crisis. Public workers on the frontlines of this pandemic are serving our communities with professionalism and courage. In the past weeks, workers have fought for additional safety measures in their workplace resulting in modified work arrangements, social distancing in the workplace, and additional protection for essential frontline workers who cannot telecommute.

Despite your leadership, national and state shortages of adequate personal protective equipment persist. These safety shortages are being amplified at workplaces where employers are not keeping workers safe. All public employers have an obligation to provide safety, security and stability during this crisis.  Over the past few weeks we have collected and addressed a high volume of member concerns.  We want to take every opportunity to inform decision makers of your safety issues.

Click here: We are asking OCEA members to take a brief safety survey. This survey will be used to identify and remedy safety concerns in the workplace wherever possible.

OCEA Safety Survey Due Saturday, April 25th at 11:59 p.m.

 In Solidarity,
