OCFA Members: Your 2.75% Wage Increase Arrives May 30

Dear OCEA member,

This Friday, you’ll see your negotiated 2.75% base salary increase on your May 30 paycheck. This represents the third increase of your OCEA-negotiated multi-year wage improvements for your current MOU.

For the average OCFA worker, that means a base pay increase of $102.88 per paycheck, or $2,675 annually.

You’ll also see an incremental dues/PAC increase of 36 cents per paycheck, or $9.36 annually.

We're now in the third year of your four-year agreement. Your total wage increases so far include:

  • 4.5% in May 2023
  • 3.5% in May 2024
  • 2.75% in May 2025 (current)

With the final 2.54% increase scheduled for May 2026, your current MOU will deliver a total 13.29% in base salary growth over the four-year period.

As you may recall, your OCFA negotiations team worked tirelessly against an adverse Board of Directors for more than a year to secure these annual increases and provide stability during fluctuating economic conditions.

Next year we will return to the negotiations table but now is the time to start mobilizing in preparations for negotiations. Please make sure your co-workers are signed up for OCFA emails, and be on the lookout for more information as negotiations get closer.

If you have questions about this raise or other contract matters, please contact OCEA Senior Labor Relations Representative Michelle Rubio (mrubio@ocea.org) or Lead Organizer Carlos Rosales (crosales@ocea.org).

In Solidarity,

OCEA
