SAMA Membership Meeting Recap: April 26, 2024

Dear SAMA members,

Thanks to those of you who attended the general membership meeting on Wednesday April 24. The SAMA members in attendance reached a consensus to promptly hold elections for a Board of Directors to be comprised of the following:

  • President – Generally oversees SAMA business and communication with members and the City
  • Vice President – Assists President or fills in when President is unavailable
  • Secretary – Responsible for records, minutes, and notetaking
  • Director at Large
  • Director at Large

The duties of the positions listed above are only general descriptions and may be modified by the Board if advisable.

We don’t have email addresses for all SAMA members so please circulate this email among other members.

Please respond by email if you have an interest in running for a Board seat and what position or positions you would like to run for by Friday, May 10. You must be a dues-paying SAMA member to be eligible. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your participation and support.
