The 2026 County Negotiations Survey is LIVE!

Dear OCEA member,

THE FIGHT FOR OUR NEXT CONTRACT STARTS NOW WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE 2026 NEGOTIATIONS SURVEY! The single most powerful tool we have as a union is our ability to negotiate and enforce our contract, our Memorandum of Understanding with the County (MOU). This contract represents OCEA's decades-long fight for better wages, benefits, work protections—every right we have earned in the workplace.

The current MOU expires in June 2026. OCEA has been in continuous preparation for 2026 negotiations since the adoption of that MOU. We track and update economic trends, budgets, executive pay, and regional data. The 2026 Negotiations Survey is an opportunity for all OCEA-represented County workers to share input that will set our negotiation priorities. A strong survey response will demonstrate to the County our unity and engagement.

We expect to begin negotiations in Spring of 2026, but the team will be assembled well before that.
