TUESDAY, March 31: OCEA Membership Briefing Call-in

OCEA Membership Briefing Calls – Tuesday, March 31, 2020
Noon and 5:30 p.m.
Call information below

Dear OCEA Member,

Our County, our state, our nation, and the entire planet faces an unprecedented challenge from the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past few weeks, each day has brought changes for every OCEA member. Our personal and professional lives have been upended by changing public health conditions, changing workplace environments, and changing (often contradictory) policies and directives from the County. But one thing has not changed—OCEA's commitment to you and your co-workers.

Please review the OCEA SOLUTIONS FOR WORKPLACE PROTECTIONS that has been presented to the County and join us for a Teleconference Briefing at either Noon or 5:30 p.m. You'll hear the latest updates from OCEA President Lezlee Neebe, General Manager Charles Barfield and other members of the OCEA leadership team.

[Removed call-in information]

If you would like to submit any questions prior to Tuesday, please do so by 5 p.m. Monday, March 30: Now closed

We continue to diligently monitor the County's actions, and failures to act, to ensure that you are able to telecommute and, should you have to report, that your workplace is safe and that you and your families are protected from exposure to COVID-19. You can help keep the County accountable by becoming a Workplace Safety Partner. Click here for our "Get Involved" link and we will contact you.

Standing together, OCEA members are safer, stronger and better protected. And throughout this crisis, we will have each others backs. I look forward to meeting with you virtually on Tuesday.

In Solidarity,

Charles Barfield
OCEA General Manager
