This weekend is Mother’s Day. Many OCEA members are mothers – working women who juggle responsibilities serving our community at work while raising children at home. The pandemic adversely affected working families but presented significant and unique challenges for working mothers.

This year is already shaping up to be big for our Union. Just this past month FMEF successfully prevented the outsourcing of two positions in ASD. This is a significant win but we know the City will continue its outsourcing schemes.
