Your retirement security is administered by the Orange County Employees Retirement System (OCERS). The OCERS Board of Retirement includes representatives appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the County Treasurer-Tax Collector, and members elected by you, your coworkers, public safety workers, and retirees.

Costa Mesa Mayor and OCEA-endorsed candidate Katrina Foley has won the special election for Orange County’s Second Supervisorial District! Her main opponent, former Supervisor John Moorlach, conceded his defeat to Supervisor-elect Foley last night as ballots were counted.

FREE PAPER SHRED EVENT - Wednesday, March 31!

The Orange County Employees Association is hosting a FREE paper shred and e-waste recycling event in collaboration with Orange County's Credit Union, California Electronics and Shred Confidential. The event is on Wednesday, March 31st from 9 a.m. to Noon. OCEA members can help prevent identity theft by shredding unneeded paper records.
Special Election Two Weeks Away!

An election critical to workplace dignity and fairness in Orange County is underway. Voting-by-mail began on February 8, 2021, and in-person vote centers will begin operating on February 27, 2021. The last day to vote in-person March 9, 2021. It's a special election for Board of Supervisors District 2. The district includes the cities of Costa Mesa, Cypress, Huntington Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Stanton, portions of Buena Park, Fountain Valley, and the unincorporated area of Rossmoor.
