2022 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave Extended to December 31, 2022

Governor Newsom has signed Assembly Bill 152 (AB 152), which extends 2022 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave (EPSL) to December 31, 2022. However, AB 152 does not provide additional EPSL hours. Workers will have to use their existing EPSL hours for absences that meet eligibility requirements.

California 2022 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave Ends Oct. 1

We’re writing to inform you that California Emergency Paid Sick Leave for COVID-19 will end effective Oct. 1, 2022. This constitutes a significant change to your COVID-19 related leave options. The last pay period you will be able to post EPSL/SPSL will be pay period 21 through Sept. 30, 2022.

OCEA is happy to announce we are continuing our group ticket relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers for the upcoming 2022-23 season! Lakers games are presold on a season seat basis, but the Lakers have devised a system with OCEA so that several weekend games will be made available to OCEA members at a reduced ticket price.
