This week, in the wake of a long list of sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein, a social media campaign emerged asking women to take a simple and yet anything but simple action: Anyone who has experienced sexual assault or harassment was asked to post their experiences on social media, along with the hashtag #metoo.
Court Negotiations update: Oct. 20, 2017

Today we concluded another bargaining session with the Court. Though tense and emotional, this turned out to be one of the more productive days of bargaining during these negotiations.
Collection Officer Update

As you know, this past August the Treasurer/Tax Collectors office planned on changing the long standing practice of sending Collections Officers out in pairs. Upon hearing this news your OCEA Stewards immediately went into action. OCEA requested a delay on the implementation and demanded to meet on the issue.
