Your bargaining team met with the City’s representative yesterday to receive the City’s most recent proposal. Your Retirement Is My Priority—OCERS Candidate Chris Prevatt
September 24, 2021
It has been an honor to represent public servants as your Trustee on the OCERS Board. As you know, workers elect two member representatives to serve as Trustees on your behalf. I was first elected to the Board in 2012, and I have consistently stood with you to protect your OCERS pension against attacks and unnecessary cost increases.
OCFA negotiations update, the JPA Board does not value you
September 24, 2021
Your bargaining team met with executive management this afternoon. We were hopeful that we would receive a proposal for a fair contract in recognition of all the work that you have done, especially during the COVID Pandemic. Unfortunately, the Fire Authority’s proposal was one big ZERO! A one-year extension and nothing else. No wage increases, no lump-sum payments, no additional time off, nothing to acknowledge all of the sacrifices that you have made as essential workers.
